Crassula perforata f. variegata - Variegated String of Buttons
String of Buttons (Crassula perforata f. variegata) (Thunberg): One of the most popular stacked Crassula species, with alternating pale green and cream variegation on triangular leaves. It grows among rocks and in the cracks of cliffsides in South Africa, where it blooms from midsummer to fall. The edges of the plant might take on a rosy pink hue when grown in full sun. It branches profusely in cultivation, reaching a height of 10.0" for a wonderful pouring effect in arrangements. Pruning and replanting, on the other hand, is a simple way to maintain it compact.
