Crested Aeonium Sunburst
Aeonium 'Sunburst' F. Cristata is most renowned for its succulent qualities. As the plant matures, its distinctive shape becomes more apparent, resembling a tree. The plant's primary characteristic is its green leaves with pink edges, which become more prominent when the plant is properly stressed. When the plant blooms, expect white flowers in the summer.
Aeoniums hate extreme heat and drought. They may go dormant during the summer and do not require any water, unless in arid situations. Their leaves curl in intense heat to conserve water. Growing them in damp shade will ensure that they continue to flourish. Their growth period is between winter and spring. When the soil has dried out, rehydrate it. Excessive wetness may result in root rot.
